The construction of an exact three-dimensional model of the whole project area is based on precise survey data and orthophotos.

Project areas to the range of several square
kilometers are based on surveying / laser scanning
and aerial imagery of highest resolution.

The technically achievable size is expanded continuously and is currently below 1m laserscan
data with 5cm resolution per pixel.

This basic model is used for all future versions of
the visualization in the course of the project, and
- if required - refined bit by bit.
